Wood & Hughes NY OYSTER Shell DISH Bowl AESTHETIC Sterling Silver .925 NO MONO

Antique Wood & Hughes, New York, NY, sterling silver .925, No. 189 Aesthetic Narragansett style figural oyster shell dish bowl, that is NOT monogrammed. The Etruscan Homeric style handle features a place that can be used for a monogram. The dish measure, is approximately 6 1/2 inches by 4 1/8 inches wide, 1/4 inches tall, weighs 3.300 ozt., & is marked W & H sterling 189. I have sold several of these & they all vary some.
The bowl is in antique estate condition as follows;
THIS AESTHETICALLY SHAPED PIECE HAS SOME SCRATCHING, WORN WASH,  SMALL DENTS, AND DINGS ON THE BOTTOM AND RIM. THERE ARE TWO VERY TINY HARD TO SEE FISSURES, ONE WHERE THE HANDLE WAS APPLIED, AND THE OTHER ADJACENT TO A SMALL DENT ON THE SIDE RIM.  WEAR IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE AND NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE AND REFLECTION IN SOME OF THE 12 PHOTOS.
