For sale is a Sterling Silver Tiffany & Co. Butter Dish. It appears that it has been personalized on one of the sides. The piece is in very nice condition - No dents or dings. It has a very substantial feel and is heavy. They don't make them like this anymore. The overall height to the dish and lid is approximately 4-1/2 inches tall and 6-3/4" across. There are three parts to this dish - the bowl base, the middle plate, and the lid.  The top of bowl is 6-3/4" across, 2" tall, and the bottom ring on the bowl is 3-1/4" across. The insert plate is 4-3/4" across. The lid is 3" tall, 5-1/4" across. All of the components weigh a total of 1 lb 2.7oz./506.5g. Separately the components weigh: The lid weighs 177.6 grams/.39 lb/6.265 oz, the insert weighs 69 grams/0.15 lb/2.435 oz, the base weighs 283.3 grams/0.625 lb/9.99 oz. Based on some research, the pattern number is 1553 and the order number is 2426.
