Southwestern Lapis Lazuli Sterling Silver & 18 Karat Yellow Gold Dangle Earrings

Authentic sterling silver and eighteen karat yellow gold Southwestern lapis lazuli earrings. These dangle style earrings feature lovely denim blue pear shape lapis lazuli. These gems show eye visible calcite and iron pyrite inclusions which creates a nice contrast and compliment to the blue lapis. These stones measure roughly one-half inch in length by close to one-quarter inch in width. The top of each turquoise has a nice fluted bell cap design. The bell caps are suspended from a lightly oxidized flower. Each flower consists of an eighteen karat yellow gold center. Stamped on the back of each flower is "925" indicating sterling silver in fineness and "18k" for eighteen karat gold. Located above these metal marks, in cursive script, is the makers name. I cannot decipher the name. These vintage earrings have been lightly cleaned but not polished. Show age appropriate wear but overall nice estate condition. The earring backs are new and have been replaced. The earrings combine to weigh a solid 5.8 grams. These Southwestern earrings would make a wonderful gift or self purchase. Look great when worn and will soon become a treasured favorite.
