Description
2 Albany Glass Works probable Clevenger flask bottles, impressions of a ship on one side, a bust (?Washington) on the other in very smoothed images. Both bear pontil marks that are open indicating blowpipe methods, and probably dating to early 1900s if Clevenger. I am not an expert on Clevenger and fake bottles abound. I will gladly revise this listing or refund your money upon return if they do not meet your expectations. Inherited from my parents, no other background. I am more than happy to send additional images if requested. One measures 5 3/4 inches tall, the other 5 7/8. The taller mouth measures 13/16 inches diameter, the other 1 inch. Beautiful aquamarine color, no obvious cracks except at the pontils, which also show iron deposits. Please message me with questions.
