Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Vintage - Frank W Smith Silver Co, Sterling Silver -  Mid 1900's c 1904 - Floral Repousse Motif -  4.25" Footed and Two Handled Chased Silver Candy Dish.
167.5 Grams - Excellent Condition! - No Reserve!
This graceful and elegant silver dish dates from the mid 1900's, anout 1904, of American make and origin, made by 'Frank W Smith & Co', fashioned as a 4.25" by 4.25" by 3" candy or nut dish
featuring an intricate chased repousse of silver flowers on the bottom and sides detailed with a silver bead border with two handles and a footed base. The dish is solid and heavy with a combined silver weight of 167.5 grams.
The dish is in excellent condition showing little wear, no dings, dents, repairs or restorations, only in need of a good polishing. The dish is monogrammed on the bottom with the initials 'EJM' and a 1904 date which can be buffed off if desired.
The dish is marked and stamped on the inside with the familiar Frank W Smith silver lion mark, 925/100 Sterling and with the small letter D.
As I usually do I'm offering this item at a LOW opening with NO RESERVE.
