Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Redlich Fruit/Centerpiece/Serving Bowl 9.25"Presented is an antique, solid sterling silver serving, fruit or decorative centerpiece bowl made by Redlich of New York during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The rim of the bowl has a separately cast and applied band of beautiful, detailed, ornate decorations. The designs include flowers, swirls and latticework patterns. The center of the bowl has a lovely monogram of the letter W or M.
The underside is marked for Redlich, sterling silver purity and it has a retailer's mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Co.
This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age. There are some tiny holes that have worn through the raised decorations along the rim, but as you can see in the photographs, this is only noticeable upon very close inspection. There are no other flaws and no repairs.
